Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for Balanced Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery
to be financed under the REECL Programme

 

Definition:

Balanced mechanical ventilation with air-to-air heat recovery:

  • Heat pipe coils
  • Plate heat exchangers
  • Thermal wheels

In compliance with Ecodesign Directive („ErP Directive”) 2009/125/EC Regulation 640/2009 (IEC motors); 327/2011 (Fans); EU Regulation 1253/2014 (Ventilation units) and Regulation 1254/2014 (labelling residential units).

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Heat recovery efficiency at nominal conditions (dry-bulb temperature efficiency) > 70%

tested in accordance with EN 308 “Heat exchangers – Test procedures for establishing the performance of air to air and flue gases heat recovery devices”

 

Conformity Requirement:

CE Marking or Certificates of conformity issues by accredited institution in EU.

When conformity is certified by an Accredited Institution, the vendor must submit all drawings, bill of materials, and other pertinent product specifications, on the basis of which the Institution has issued its certification report.
