Hot Water Gas Boilers
Eligibility criteria for hot water gas boilers and/or gasification to be financed under the REECL Programme
Condensing gas boilers with or without associated controls, space heating and DHW storage systems; and/or a gasification installation (a gas piping system) of a dwelling starting from the boundary gas meter (owned by the gas distribution company) all the way to the connection to gas appliances and comprising of piping and equipment, as well as chimneys or flue pipes discharging the fumes and gases from the gas appliances into the outside atmosphere. When the boundary between the distribution network and the gasification installation is outside of the dwelling, the gasification installation includes all the piping with or without any associated equipment outside the dwelling between the boundary gas meter and the connections to all gas appliances in the dwelling.
Seasonal space heating energy efficiency ηs ≥ 90% (gas boiler energy rating “A”, “A+”, “A++” or “A+++”) in accordance with EU Ecodesign Directive („ErP Directive”) 2009/125/EC Regulation 813/2013 (minimum efficiency standards for space heaters and combination heaters); EU Energy Labelling Directive 2010/30/EU Regulation 811/2013 (energy labelling space heaters and combination heaters); BG Ordinance (of 09.06.2004) on the connection to the transmission and distribution networks; BG Ordinance (of 09.03.2004) on the organization and safe operation of transmission and distribution lines, facilities, installations and equipment for natural gas; BG Ordinance (of 25.11.2004) on the technical rules and standards of design, construction and use of facilities and equipment for transmission, storage, distribution and supply of natural gas.
All heat emitters are to be provided with thermostat control (radiators with thermostatic valves, fan-coils with room thermostats, etc)
This measure is not applicable for individual apartments in multi-storey apartment Buildings connected to district or central building heating systems.
Hot water cylinders and tanks, included in the DHW system, must be with an output of less than or equal to 70kW and a capacity of less than or equal to 500 litres with energy rating of A or B in accordance with the Ecodesign Directive („ErP Directive”) 2009/125/EC and Energy Labelling Directive 2010/30/EU.
CE Marking or Certificates of conformity issues by accredited institution in EU.
When conformity is certified by an Accredited Institution, the vendor must submit all drawings, bill of materials, and other pertinent product specifications, on the basis of which the Institution has issued its certification report.
